For Still Photography
(digital) - I charge $110 /hr
for the shoot itself (2 hr min). This includes proof sheets and
two CD's with all images.
It also includes DVDs with a
beautiful dissolving slide-shows.
For obtaining sets of normal
|4x6 prints, I suggest bringing the CD
to any Wall-Mart or
Walgreen's. They are low-cost and fast.
If you want large
prints (framed or not), we can custom print those
for you at better rates than the local labs. I shoot about
100 images per hour on average.
Although rates vary from shoot to
shoot, I generally
charge $125 /hour for video services- which includes
three labeled copies of the finished product (DVD or VHS)
-as well as
the digital DV master. Any editing over just the addition
of
introductory titles- will be additional. Marriage photo services are
separate from the above rates. Marriages
have many more aspects and requirements, and so must be custom
arranged with the couple. I can assure you that my rates will be less
than half the price of any
quote you receive from a true professional.
My wife and I really enjoy doing this and we set the
rates as low as
we can. It's always possible to get "Uncle Charlie" to
shoot your event
with his brand-new digital camera, but I can
assure you that you won't
be pleased with the results. This event only happens once in a lifetime.
Having hundreds of truly beautiful pictures from it
will be an enduring treasure.
Having a professional photographer at your
event also says you care enough
about this event to use the very best.
